Frequency: 40 hours per week

Pay Range: $25-$28/hr

 

 

Job Description:

 

  • Ensure packaging provides adequate protection, and preservation during shipping and storage, noting any part specific requirements
  • Where bag and tag marking is allowed by the part print, verify that all required elements are stated on the tag
  • Ensure drawing requirements are met, Ensure correct location / position and completeness and correctness of marking. Verification of serial numbers where required.
  • Full visual inspection paying particular attention to Burring, Nicks, Dents, Contamination, Finish, Foreign Objects etc.
  • Review each part assembly for completed assembly operations
  • Assure part number and serial number on release documents match the production paperwork and physical part

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Must have 5 years experience in Aerospace
  • Inspector must have practical experience performing inspection on machined parts, and or sub-assemblies
  • The inspections will be performed to engineering requirements
  • Must have the ability to read/ interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders(POs)
  • Must have experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers
