Quality Assurance Specialist - On-Site 

Location: 

Various Supplier Facilities, Missouri 

Duration: 

6 Months (with potential for extension) 

Frequency: 

30-40 hours/week 

 

Who We're Looking For: 

Verify Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and conformance of manufactured parts and assemblies for our clients. You will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections at various supplier facilities throughout Missouri. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of complex machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. 
  • Inspect parts to engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications. 
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with AS9102 standards. 
  • Utilize and interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ANSI Y14.5. 
  • Accurately record inspection results and report findings to clients via web application. 
  • Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. 
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality inspection within aerospace or military/defense manufacturing on complex machined parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies. 
  • Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (Pos). 
  • Proficiency in using various inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment. 
  • Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with the AS9102 standard. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Computer savvy and proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel. 
  • Must own a reliable laptop capable of handling the tasks required for this role.
