Position: Source Inspector

Location:Carson City, Nevada

Duration: 1 Month

Frequency: 2 days a week

Job Description:

• Source Inspection will be conducting precise mechanical inspections at various client-supplier sites primarily in the Southern California surrounding cities.
• In-process, FAI and final source inspection of mechanical parts.
• Read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards
• Source inspection will entail; wire bonding, pre-cap and led seal

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on inspection experience with precision machined parts
• Must be familiar with MIL-STD-883 and MIL-PRF-58534, and handling protocol of Hybrids
• Knowledge and hands-on experience working with various inspection tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, etc.)
• GD&T experience is required
• CMM experience (but not necessarily CMM programming experience).
• CMM programming experience is a plus
• US Citizenship is a requirement, and background checks are required.
• Capable of validating dimensions (total tolerances >/=.005” with Minimal GD&T validation) utilizing standard hand tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gages)
