Position: Aerospace Engineer -Supplier Development

Location: Largo, FL

Duration: 6 months to a year (Starting in October 2025)

Frequency: Full-time / W2

Pay Range: $75.00-$80.00 Based on experience

 

Job Summary

Development of aircraft interiors and program management from concept through to Certification and Entry into Service. Serve as primary technical focal point with suppliers and following their Detail Design engineering phase - managing project deliverables and schedules, and guiding the overall system from initial definition through engineering design, testing, certification, and the completion and acceptance of all related Deliverables.
On a given day you may host regular supplier progress and technical integration meetings, develop and provide program status reports, oversee prototype or pre-production components in our mockup or test bench, co-develop design and aircraft installations with our supplier's manufacturing team.
Work with Manufacturing and Customer-Service teams to ensure design for modularity, manufacturability, maintainability, and ease of future upgrade.
You will work closely with Programs, Supply-Chain Management, and Interiors Engineering teams to ensure crisp project status reporting, weight and cost management, Requirements compliance, and overall system functionality.

 

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years of Aerospace engineering experience with at least 10 years in the design, engineering, and Part 23 certification of aircraft Interiors for business jet Cabin Interiors in serial production (can be TC or STC).
  • Engineering Management/Leadership Experience
  • In-depth knowledge and facility of design in CATIA and PLM software for aircraft engineeringIn-depth knowledge and experience in Cabin System design and integration.
  • Composite design, manufacturing and assembly techniques.
  • Qualification (Do-160, etc) to GAMA publication no.13 (structural qualification for interior monuments
  • Monument and Liner Attachment design and qualification, considering bonding, build-sequence, and adjustability for dimensional management
  • Sub-component Wiring harness development.
  • Options and configuration management
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
