Position: Source Inspector

Location: Querétaro, Mex

Duration: Minimum 6 months

Frequency: approx 40 hrs/week

Currently seeking for a Source Inspector to support our customer in Querétaro, Mexico.

The source inspector will be responsible to review FAIs, ensure Corrective Action are implemented and inspect parts at the supplier site as per the customer requirements and report any non-conformance.

Job Description :

• Support Supplier with the Corrective Action Process and implementation
• Review FAIs
• Perform source inspections required by the documentation.
• Ensure parts are conformed to the engineering requirements and the documentation.
• Identify and document any non-conformance.
• Support non-conformance root cause analysis when required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years Aerospace inspection experience
• Minimum 3+ years inspecting machine parts and special processes
• Experience with Corrective Action process and implementation
• Extensive knowledge of engineering, drawings, and GD&T
• Experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
• Understanding and experience in AS9100.
• Knowledge of First Article Inspection (AS 9102)
• Other Qualifications: MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) Computer proficiency is required, team-minded, communicative, being proactive
• Candidate must have a laptop, access to internet and a mobile phone.
• Available to travel to support suppliers at multiple locations in Mexico
