Job Description:
The CMM/Faro Arm Programmer will provide technical support to the quality engineering functions. Will conduct examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, components and parts at various stages of the production process, to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards.
 
Job Core Responsibilities
Conduct examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components on all types of standard and special products, to insure alignment with product requirements and quality standards
• Provide detail analysis, troubleshooting and evaluation of components, assemblies and systems 
• Maintain documentation records and data on tests performed 
• Recommend quality control solutions to complex problems and implements corrective actions
   
Set-up or build special test panels to facilitate testing and /or evaluation as needed 
Perform internal audits based on established criteria and records the results 
• Determine conformance of products based on data received from CMM/Faro Arm 
• Write programs based on the available software for the CMM/Faro Arm 
• Run existing programs as necessary 
• Store programs according to applicable work instructions 
• Use Data Page as a tool for gathering information 
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned

 

 

Ideally someone with Polyworks and PCDmis however open to other software experience. 

 

 

Requirements:
Education :
A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Certifications : Vocational Training and/or apprenticeships in Quality Control Inspections or equivalent experience in related field
Years Experience :
 4-6 years of relevant experience
Skills
 :
Ability to perform examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, components and parts on all types of standard and special products 
• Ability to independently resolve standard assignments
    
Demonstrated experience with blueprints, drawings and parts lists 
• Knowledge of GD&T, fixture, and inspection methods 
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9000 
• Math skills and computations required 
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet 
• Knowledge of PolyWorks and Camio software preferred 
• Certification or documented training from an external or internal source 
• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, sit and work at a computer workstation, and walk up and down stairs 
• May need to work nights and weekends
